Sadly, there is no picture from today. Today was almost a bad dream but everything ended up working out in the best way it could.
It started out like any day, we went to the gym for our morning work out. After, I needed to run a few errands. After stopping by the bank, I went to the GMC dealership to pick up the cross bars for my car so we can go kayaking again! Frank ordered a book for his motorcycle so I thought I would be an awesome wife and pick it up. On my way there I noticed my car was running a little hot so I stopped to get gas and check the fluid levels. Fluid looked a little low but I wasn't going far so I thought I could make it home. We were stuck in traffic so I just assumed it was the issue. When I got to the motorcycle store, the temp gauge was almost at 260 degrees. I went in to get the book and "shopped" around for a little while hoping it would give the car enough time to cool off. When I got back into the car it was still hot so I asked one of the mechanics to look at it. He added some coolant and thought I'd be OK. The car was still hot so I knew that I couldn't drive it.
I called OnStar and they had my car towed to the dealership. The tow truck guy was awesome and took Madi and I with him. I highly recommend keeping the OnStar service! Once back at the dealership, they looked at my car and decided it would take more than a day to fix so they gave me a loaner. Possibly the biggest truck they had! A 4 door GMC pickup.
I was happy to take it because it meant I could get home!
