One of my favorite things to do growing up was coloring Easter eggs! Luke and I would pick out our dye packs and Mom would boil us at least a dozen eggs each. Most of the time a few cracked so she would end up boiling more but we always had the same amount and our baskets were full of colorful eggs! I remember getting frustrated when my eggs would never come out like the picture on the box; yes, maybe I am a little perfectionist on some things! It was lots of fun! If Daddy was home or we were visiting him at work, he got in on the excitement too.
Jack and Cora invited us and Ada over to dye eggs with them today. It is much more fun to do in a group than alone! Lindsay took on the challenge of boiling all the eggs. She's now a pro! The kids had a great time and didn't even make a mess. We had a mini egg hunt afterwards and I got to practice my photography skills on baby Cora!
