The growing season for most things in FL is a lot earlier than what I grew up with in Louisiana. Today, we took a field trip to Hunsader Farms to pick some strawberries! Hunsader has quit a few U-pick items and a pretty nice sized farmer's market full of fresh home grown fruits and veggies. They also have a few goats to feed and a nice playground. We had a picnic lunch and just enjoyed the lovely weather! Isn't a PB&J so much better when its eaten outside!
Madi, Jack, Ada Sofia, and Valentina had the best time. They mostly picked the really pretty juicy RED strawberries but occasionally a few less than stellar berries made it into the box.
(oh and when did my baby turn into such a big girl!)
